One desk space available in our creative, light-filled warehouse space in central Chippendale - with a purpose-built cyclorama and photography studio downstairs!
Black Door Studio is a photography studio and warehouse with studio space upstairs and 6x6m purpose-built cyclorama downstairs.
We have one desk space available upstairs; share with an architectural⁄design studio and photographers.
If you also want access to shoot in the photography studio, please contact us to discuss. We are currently at full capacity for members and residents but studio time could be available as per our day rate prices - subject to calendar availability. The photography studio downstairs operates 7 days a week on a separate basis; please see our website for these details.

The studio is just a few minutes walk from Central Station, and we’re looking for someone lovely to share our fantastic, convenient and central space.
The desk space is available at $90⁄week ($390⁄month), paid monthly, all inclusive.
One month’s security bond. We're looking for someone to stay for 6 months at least.
Studio hours upstairs are 9am-6:30pm~ Monday to Friday so would suit a creative type who freelances or doesn’t want to pay the premium for 24 hour desk space. We try to keep to office hours but flexibility is possible in exceptional circumstances.
There is a shared meeting table, kitchen, bathroom available for your use. Courtyard to the rear shared with others in our warehouse building - artists⁄designers⁄photographers.
Access to our printer⁄photocopier could be made available on request.
Rental terms are negotiable so if there's something you'd like to discuss please just get in touch!
The studio is close by to Chippendale cafes and galleries - Brickfields Bakery and White Rabbit are just around the corner, and we overlook Central Park.
